Carved pot in wood ash glaze

Carved stoneware pot with pale green natural wood ash glaze. Thrown on the potter's wheel, the pot was carefully trimmed, dried, and fired in a wood kiln. Flame and ash in the kiln interact with the glaze, producing toasty edges, subtle speckles and delicate pools of green ash colour.

Lined with a food-safe glaze, this pot can be used in the kitchen or at the table if desired.

Approximate dimensions: 7.5cm tall by 11cm diameter. 

 Gentle handwash recommended.
