Faceted bud vase 1

A small faceted bud vase, wheel-thrown with thicker walls before being freely carved and gently altered to create an organic, asymmetric form. Shell imprints add a tactile detail and a connection to the Anglesey coastline. Finished in a soft white glaze and ash sprays that speckle and run when fired in the wood kiln. This little vase is ideal for a few gathered buds or as a standalone piece. 

 

Vase is approximately 9cm tall.
