Faceted bud vase 3

A tiny faceted bud vase, wheel-thrown with thicker walls before being freely carved and gently altered to create an organic, asymmetric form reminiscent of rock.  Finished in a natural, pale green wood ash glaze that adds surface texture and characteristic rivulets when fired in the wood kiln. This little vase is ideal for a few gathered buds or as a sweet standalone piece on a shelf. 

 

Vase is approximately 7cm tall.
