Small cup in pale wood ash glaze

A small faceted cup, wheel-thrown then faceted and altered to create a soft, organic form. Each piece carries a subtle shell imprint from the beaches of Anglesey, adding a gentle textural detail. The glaze is a carefully developed wood-ash blend, which responds beautifully in the kiln—settling into the facets and creating natural rivulets down the surface.

 

Each cup is handcrafted in the studio, with organic variations in shape, size, and surface detail—marks of the making process that gives each piece its character. Each piece is unique.

Each cup holds approximately 100ml, perfect for strong coffee or evening tipples.
