Faceted cup in wood ash glaze

A wheel-thrown cup, altered and hand-faceted to create a gentle, organic form and imprinted with shells collected from the beaches of Anglesey to add detail and a sense of place. Fired for 20 hours in a wood kiln with a natural wood ash glaze that creates natural variation, rivulets and speckling across the surface and a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

 

Cup holds approximately 190ml, perfect for tea and coffee lovers alike.
