Set of two faceted espesso cups in rusty shino

A pair of faceted espresso cups, thrown on the potters wheel and wood fired. During the long firing, the rusty shino glaze develops rich, warm tones in the fire, with natural variation, ash deposits and soft flashing that highlight the thrown form.

 

Each cup is handcrafted in the studio, and organic variations in shape, size, and surface detail are to be expected—marks of the making process that give each piece its character.

 

Each cup holds approximately 70ml, perfect for a single or double espresso.
