Faceted lidded pot with shells

Stoneware lidded pot thrown on the potter's wheel before being gently carved, faceted and altered. Small Anglesey shell imprints connect the pot to the island. A simple sandy white glaze and wood ash spray produce a muted finish after the 14 hour wood firing. Food-safe for use in the kitchen, if desired.
