Faceted stem vase 4

Faceted stem vase, thrown on the potter's wheel and freely faceted by hand using wires, ribbon tools and knives to create soft, irregular planes and an organic silhouette. Subtle imprints of shells from the beaches of Anglesey add a quiet detail and sense of place. Finished in a soft, weathered glaze and fired in the wood kiln, this vase is designed for a single stem or a small, considered arrangement.

 

Vase is approximately 13.5cm tall.
