Set of two faceted espesso cups soft white

A pair of faceted espresso cups, thrown on the potter’s wheel, then altered and imprinted with shells collected from the beaches of Anglesey.  The soft white glaze interacts beautifully with the atmosphere in the kiln, creating gentle speckling and warm flashing across the surface.

 

Each cup is handcrafted in the studio, and organic variations in shape, size, and surface detail are to be expected—marks of the making process that give each piece its character.

 

Each cup holds approximately 70ml, perfect for a single or double espresso.
