Tea bowl in Shino

Wood-fired stoneware tea bowl in pale Shino glaze. Fired for 14 hours in a wood kiln where ash and flame interact with the clay and glaze to create a beautiful surface with metallic specs.

 

Tea bowl holds approximately 230ml.
