Pair of stoneware nibble bowls

Pair of wood-fired nibble bowls, thrown, faceted and altered and finished with white speckled glaze. Over a 20-hour firing in the wood kiln, flame and ash interact with the clay and glaze, creating gentle flecking and tonal shifts across the surface.

 

Bowls are approximately 11cm in diameter.
