Arch handle teapot in soft green

Medium stoneware teapot crafted with a comfortable arch handle and finished with a soft, weathered green glaze. With a capacity of 850ml, it’s perfect for sharing with a loved one.

 

Each piece of this teapot was made by hand. Starting on the potter's wheel, the body, spout and lid are thrown and then carefully trimmed, assembled, and dried. The handle is pulled from a lump of soft clay, then attached and shaped for a comfortable fit. After an initial firing, the teapot was gently sanded and washed, before being dipped in a bespoke green glaze.
