Workshop Description

Make your own stoneware mug using slab-building techniques in this winter pottery workshop. You'll be guided through the process of building a mug from slabs of clay, and show different ways to decorate it. You can personalise your mug using texture, patterns, stamps, sprigs and underglaze, with plenty of opportunity to experiment and make it your own. Maximum of four people. Workshop includes: - A two-hour hands-on workshop in my cosy studio in Menai Bridge - Step-by-step guidance on making and decorating a slab-built mug - A handmade ceramic mug, glazed and fired in my electric kiln - A choice of studio glazes - All tools, materials and firing included Your finished mug will be ready for collection before Christmas, so you can keep it for yourself or give it as a handmade Christmas gift! No previous experience needed.
